To look upon you and smile, I'd be complete...
To say I'm sorry and make it all right,
would make death worth while with a clear conscience in sight.
Reflecting on the diva that has gone...
I think about the times when I should have let it pass...
One person's death can mean life for us all,
To gain the perspective and make sense of it all.
Jenni, I never knew you, but knew of you.
I enjoyed your honesty, your smile, you.
-We all F*** up!
-But we get up!!
-I will always try again!
She'd say.
Live your authentic life!
You must:
Walk your walk, and talk it!
Jenni did that.
She said it like it was.
She held on to life with everything she had.
Yet, she died without making mends with her daughter....
Could you imagine that?
I take Jenni's death and ponder my own.
I never worried about dying, it's a process! We all know!
But, the quickness of it!
That is what made me re-think!
...To never leaving earth with a broken heart!
To mending it, while I'm still a part!
...
To Jenni! La Diva!
Still teaching us a thing or two...
May you rest in peace and mend your broken heart too.
